Zero was headed to the infirmary for something minor. He'd been having headaches lately thanks to Libra every now and then. But when he saw Alpha running with Shay in his arms he started running along side.

"What happened?" he asked his own minor pain forgotten almost instantly.

"I-I'm not sure if it was accidental or not, but Shay overdosed on sleeping medication." Ones that I practically made him get... Shit... Alpha wasn't exactly in the mood to talk as he focused on running-- he panted slightly as he asked, "You can teleport-- can you tell the infirmary to be prepared, or can you bring him with you?"

"Yeah," Zero replied setting a hand on Alpha's shoulder, he shut his eyes trying to pick out a life force inside the infirmary. It took a minute but he locked on and away all three of them went, appearing in a dim flash of blue light.

"WE NEED A DOCTOR OVER HERE!" He called out, praying someone with experience with ODs was in...

Shay was unconscious by the time they got to the infirmary, ragdolling in Alpha's arms as his skin became pale and clammy, fur coated in a sheen of cold sweat. The sudden appearance of the bat and his two companions startled everyone in the vicinity, but like usual, Ruth stepped forward to take charge. "Set him down over here and tell me what happened so I know what to do!"

(Wait a minute, nevermind.)

"I ran into them on my way here, according to this one his buddy overdosed on sleeping meds." Zero explained.

The stoat was surprisingly calm in this situation which struck him as odd...maybe is the fact that visiting this place had become routine with how many accidents had been happening plus all the Sect attacks before Lance popped Julianne's head.

Alpha gave Zero a bit of a look, before fumbling for the pill bottle he picked up, "I-it was on these..."

Ruth took a look at the pill bottle, ears tilting back. "Alright, we need to try to reverse its affects and get it out of his system..." She hurried to act, going to get what she needed to pump his stomach and calling to Alpha, "I know it's hard to treat someone you're close to, Alpha, but you need to get some adrenaline in him to counter the effects of the pills while I try to clean it out! Get a syringe from the stock!"

Zero crossed his arms a bit, his own reasons for being here forgotten, all he could do now was wait and hope for the best.

Alpha almost didn't move, but a part of his mind forced him to move. The griffin searched for the syringe Ruth told him to look for, and returned a few moments later, trying to stay calm. His heart felt like it was hammering against his ribs, ready to break free as he cleaned the area on Shay's arm where the syringe would go. He then gave the bat the shot, praying to Aurora this would be over soon.
