Death Note

"What do you mean?" she asked. She didn't recall ever seeing him when she snuck in to the place. She was now even more curious about Beyond.

"I'm just wondering. You may not of seen me, but I was there. I heard you say 'Hey Kira!'. I'm surprised you're still alive to be honest." Beyond said to Raku. He was now in a less serious tone but still uneasy as to what she was capable of.

"...I'm a bit surprised myself." she answered. She had wondered why she hadn't died yet, but she wasn't going to complain.

"So. I'm curious. Who's side are you on? Normally someone who provokes Kira is dead or wish they were. I don't think you would be on our side if you blatantly told L who kira is, but then again you could be doing that to take some heat off him. So who's side are you really on?" Beyond asked Raku. Beyond was holding onto a small piece of the death note in his pocket in case something happened.

"Wait that was L? I didn't know that actually...I guess I would be more on Kira's side since he helped avenge the death of my family." she answered. She didn't know who this guy was, but she felt like she could trust him.

"Even if he wasn't L why say he's Kira at all? Why even sneak into headquarters. You still havent answered that either." Beyond said. He was getting annoyed but took his hand off the death note.

"I believe that Death Notes rare and I can tell that he was Kira because I couldn't see when he would die. I snuck inside to say hello to him, to kind of make him also a bit curious as well. I want to help him." Raku said.

Beyond was still a bit confused. "Someone can't just sneak into L's headquarters like its nothing. What if he wasn't Kira and you said hey to the wrong person? That could result in the death of an innocent person." Beyond said.

"I'm sure it was Kira, call it an instinct if you will. I don't fully know how to explain it in any other way." she answered. She was somewhat wondering why he was asking so many questions.

"What would you say if I told you that there is a possibility you can work with Kira?" Beyond asked Raku. He was now getting nervous and was holding the piece of the death note again.

"What do you mean? How can I help?" she asked.

"I'll tell you later. Is there anywhere we can meet up later that no one can see or hear us? I'd rather not have a repeat of what happened at headquarters." Beyond asked.

(btw I actually tried drawing stuffz. think it came out bad but eh, first real drawing I tried. I was also able to upload it to DA since I haz scanner )

"We can meet at my house." she answered.

"Okay. We'll meet there tonight." Beyond said. He was a bit more calm than before. He felt as if Raku was being honest. He walked away and thought about what to do.

Meanwhile at headquarters, Light was doing research for L. He then noticed that L was acting kinda strange. "Ryuzaki. I'm curious, you seem a bit off today. Is everything okay?" Light asked L.

Raku started to go home.


"Hm? What do you mean?" L asked. His tail curled around him and rested on his feet.

"I don't know. You just sound like you're very aggitated. Is something wrong?" Light asked. He was worried that L may be getting nervous and paranoid.

"No." L lied. He didn't want Light to worry and he didn't want Light to suspect him to being nervous.

"Alright, but tell me if anythings wrong." Light said to L. "In any case, I wasn't able to find anything, have you had any luck?" Light asked L.

"Not much, but we will be getting some extra help." L said.

Light was interested. He didn't think there was anything else could be left to help L. "Extra help? There's going to be someone new to help with the investigation?" Light asked.

"Yes." L answered.

"That's good to hear. We've been stuck for awhile now, maybe the new guy will be able to help a bit. I'm also assuming since you recommend him that he's pretty good." Light said.

"Yes, he's quite good." he replied and drank some of his coffee.

"That's good to hear. When will he be here?" Light asked L.

"He'll be here soon enough." L replied.
