When Alpha woke up that morning, as light from his window stretched across his face, he was alarmed at first at how much he had slept in. However, it took him a moment to remember-- he was still off from working at the infirmary. The avian hybrid pushed his feathery hair back out of his eyes, and was about to get out of bed, but he froze. Another figure was in the bed, and looked like he was about to fall off. Alpha wasn't sure how long Shay had been there, and couldn't help but feel awkward, even though the bat wasn't awake yet. Well, at least he slept... For the most part. He also didn't know if he should shift Shay closer to the middle of the bed, just in case if he fell off.

Roy had managed to sleep through the rest of the night, as he felt more at ease, and not in pain. His hair was everywhere, but nowhere near Laura's lion's mane hair. The bat shifted a little when Laura affectionately kissed his forehead like that, before falling still again-- a gentle noise rose from him that could only be classified as his weird bat purr. He nuzzled her gently, the implications of his nightmare and phantom limb pain undetectable from last night.

"O-okay... Thank you..." Tina watched Greyson off, and was thankful she didn't have to face that little girl again. She sat down on the couch somewhat heavily, and let out a sigh. The otter was tired, hungry, and a little on the edge, which wasn't the best combination for anyone. She really hoped that her boyfriend would just sit with her for a while, but she doubted it.
