(Our trip to Ottawa is going okay. It's going to take about six hours, and we went through the States to avoid Toronto traffic. Just, we ended up missing the exit we were supposed to take because I was arguing with my mom about the toll. I didn't know that you could use Canadian money for the tolls, and the exchange rate fucked me up. I don't even know what I was thinking. She kind of went on about how I wasn't supposed to argue with her, and that she knew a lot more than I did. I just kind of felt awful... We then made a short stop and she asked for directions, and we could just take the next exit to meet up with the exit we missed. It was only a little out of the way, but I still feel bad... After that, my mom acted like it didn't even happen, and I was sitting there playing Animal Crossing like '._.'.

I'm just gonna try to enjoy this vacation, but that was just a bad start, and I feel more is going to come because of my ignorance.

Watching the sun rise was nice, though... Until I literally couldn't see anything. And the scenery was beautiful.)

Sunrises are nice...until the sun is fully shinning then it's not so nice XD. When I was on Mid-Shift with a co-worker, we'd drive to a spot on the flightline at shift change, he'd take a nap and I'd watch the sunrise.)
