The bat yanked his arm out of Isaac's grip, looking ready to get up again, but apparently thinking twice about it again-- the bat's short fur bristled, "Where ees Mazhew now?"

Delilah followed after Flare to Matthew, looking a little nervous. The Brodeurs watched her from the corner of the room, the looks on their faces somewhat masked... Rachel's composure seemed to be slipping a little now, as what happened to EJ just started to sink in... Delilah turned her blue gaze to Matthew, and carefully reached out to him, "I promise I'm not going to hurt you... It won't take long..." The cougar blanched a little at the sight of the gash on Matthew's chest, and tried to ignore it as best as she could.

Matthew bared his teeth when the women entered the room, his ears flattening back to his head as Delilah tried to approach him. "I won't let you! Forgetting doesn't make it so it never happened, it just makes me unable to protect him!" He swiped at Delilah's hand, trying to ward her off while his fur fluffed up to make himself look bigger, his eyes narrowed with rage.

"He's not dying!" Isaac argued, his ears tilting back. "He's going to be fine... we can't believe otherwise." He then crossed his arms and scowled down at the floor, muttering, "I'm not sure what's happening with Matthew... Flare and a few others are supposedly detaining him."

Horrified, Paulette stood off to the side and tried to understand what was happening. "I-I don't understand..."

A little relieved, Marie nodded and smiled. She then took a seat on the floor next to him, cuddling up to his side while Bianca happily gnawed on his shirt for a little bit before falling asleep... the baby was still very young and tended to follow the eat-sleep-eat-sleep-eat-sleep pattern for now.

Celeste nodded, then went to fetch her shoes and a sweater before they left; of course, the sweater was pink with a kitty face on the front. The deaf marten had really cutesie tastes, much to Laura's dismay when she was given the hand-me-downs.

"Matthew if need be I will kill you. You are protecting him you are destroying him, this will prevent that. Here I'll give you the choice, you can either stay alive or you can die. Take your pick Matty." Flare replied. She put a hand on Delilah's shoulder to make her feel a bit better at least, if Matt wanted to die then she would send her out of the room. She would try to make his death as quick as possible.

Duel had his hands full with Bianca so instead he wrapped his tail around Marie. It was the closest thing he could do to hugging her or cuddling her back. He moved the baby a little bit to the side so that he could quickly fix the stain on his shirt before moving the child back to where she was.

Amigo didn't need anything, he wasn't wearing anything for the cold. He was just wearing a t-shirt and pants. That was all he truly needed, but then again he didn't have a lot of clothing. He hadn't gone to see what winter-time stuff there was that would fit him. He took Celeste's hand as he lead the way to Laura.

"Eet's... A long story. Part of one zat nearly got me keelled last year." Roy said, shifting on the bed again. Now he was really antsy, and tried to calm himself down, "I'll try to sum up zis... Basically, Ezhay's oldair brozair 'as tried to 'cure' Ezhay wiz ze Sect... Multiple times."
