Oh mai... This is new...

The two otters nodded, and sat next to one another at the table. Tina smiled a little as she watched Bebe, before she dug into her plate. Honestly, she suddenly felt the hunger inside of her now, as she had barely paid it any attention when Phillip and Shiloh suddenly appeared at their door. 

Phillip, on the other hand, was visibly slower and more cautious. He had to admit, though, that Greyson cooked pretty well. The fish was a given for Phillip, anyway. Okay....just, don't rush yourself.... He didn't want to eat too much, or too fast, which wouldn't be good for anyone.

Stone still slept on, as he didn't hear Scotty's little noise-- he slept pretty heavily, and it took a lot to wake him up. However, his arms didn't tighten around Scotty again, but they didn't loosen, either.

Bebe babbled as she ate, though nobody understood what she was saying. It was pretty cute, and Greyson occasionally smiled at her and chuckled, and once had to remind her not to talk with her mouth full. He didn't really know what to talk about, so the Chao's random babbling was appreciated to break up the silence.

Scotty was relieved when Stone stopped moving around and didn't tighten his grip any more. The sheep tried to just deal with it, since he wasn't being hurt at all, and laid his head back down in an attempt to go back to sleep. I dedn't know thes would be so deffecult...

Neither Phillip or Tina knew what to say, either, but the both of them also smiled a little as Bebe babbled on. Her cuteness and babbling was indeed appreciated, as it lifted their spirits. Phillip looked less frazzled, and started to relax a little. How long had it been since the last time he felt this light? He had no idea. He just tried to not think of Shiloh... And what happened.

Tina had noticed her brother's change in demanour, and inwardly breathed a sigh of relief. He's already looking better....

Stoney's face, pushed against Scotty's neck, was covered by most of his hair. It stuck up in random directions, and flopped right in his face. The hybrid's ears twitched a bit, before he fell still again.

Pippa flattened her ears she was feeling guilty about making him nervous and uncomfortable. She moved away from him. "Sorry..."she said.

"Yeah, but the smart people should do the smart people jobs," Sasha pointed out, "There's not a lot of people who can do the engineering thing."

"Hmm?" Chase didn't know why she was apologizing, giving her a confused look.

"Really? I thought there were tons of people who did that kind of stuff here." Calvin said.

There was this guy, then that mute chick who seemed desperate for friends, and then ranty Joss... She had three options for cute shorties to date, and would have to consider her options before asking one of them out. Then there was that one medic, what was his name...? Shane? No, Shay! Yeah. He was kinda uptight, but Sasha bet she could have a little bit of fun with him if she tried hard enough.

Greyson chuckled, "I figured. Fish it is. Hmmm... maybe I'll bread them and make fish sticks. Those are more fun, and Bebe loves them, too..." He shook his head to stop thinking about cooking, focusing on Tina again as he told her, "Don't you worry, I'll make sure he eats and puts on like twenty pounds. He'll have chubby cheeks when I'm done with him." Younger teens like Phillip were still supposed to eat well. The kid wasn't done growing yet, and he was pitifully skinny.

Evey jumped when Zero shouted from somewhere in the house, then sighed when the baby started promptly crying in response. The ermine plucked up the baby, trying to calm him down so he could resume his afternoon nap. "Shhhh, Lee, go back to sleep, Daddy just got wound up..."

Meanwhile, out on the road, Gabe was watching Jonah. He asked, "Where're you goin', son? Need any help?" He could leave the young guard in charge of the truck, but he figured this cyborg might need a hand in whatever it was he was doing.

"Im looking for Zero Marshall's old place. A friend of mine needs some things from there...said he'd build me a new left arm if I helped." Jonah explained intentionally leaving out the part about Storm's body.

The hedgehog previously mentioned sighed when Libra started crying.

"Sorry hun..." he said as he could only stand by and watch his wife calm their child down.

Greyson smiled a little to himself when he noticed Phillip relaxing, then looked over to share a quick glance with Tina. It was good to see he was already doing better... maybe this visit with them was just what he needed, even if it had started with a huge emotional meltdown.

Managing to sleep a little, Scotty got over the awkwardness and slight discomfort of the situation. The sheep was all tangled up with Stone, and it would certainly be a little awkward when they woke up.

Tina caught Greyson's eye and smiled a little to him in response. He seemed to have noticed as well, and she could see the relief in his purple gaze. Yes.... He'll be fine... He'll recover eventually... 


Phillip hadn't really noticed Tina and Greyson exchanging glances to one another. He also didn't pay it much attention-- they were dating, so.... The otter just ate slowly and quietly, while trying not to pick at his food too much.

"No, not really... And most of them are just kids, like some sort of child geniuses. But it's still a lot for them to do by themselves," Sasha replied, carrying boxes onto another one of the carts.

Chase blushed more at that, "U-uh... not necessarily uncomfortable, just, um... I can't help but get all embarrassed and dorky, Pippa. It's not your fault."

Greyson was the first to finish eating, and started to clean up while the Foster siblings continued to pick at their plates. He was in a better mood, having faith that the otters would both be alright and would recover from their traumatic experiences before too long.

After finishing her food, Bebe fluttered up off the table and went to wash her face in the sink, being a very tidy little Chao.

"It's alright," Evey replied, patting Libra's back as she looked questioningly up at Zero, "What's going on? Something about someone releasing prisoners?"

The truck of refugees was about ready to leave, but Gabe seemed intent on sticking with Jonah. "I'll help you, boy. You helped the lot of us, after all."

"That's surprising. I would have thought that there we're too many workers for that sort of stuff." the tiny bat replied.

"I thought I was since your heartbeat was fast like you were nervous or something." Pippa said and got close to him again.

"Apparently Jonah is in Redwillow and he just freed a bunch of people so now Lance want me to head to the camp border and escort them to camp once they get here." Zero explained.

Jonah meanwhile just nodded, "Alright then, I'll take it slow...I doubt you know parkour..."

Tina and Phillip continued to pick at their plates. Neither of them really knew what to say, but eventually, Phillip couldn't really eat anymore. His stomach still wasn't like it used to be. A good one fourth of the food had not been eaten, and Phillip couldn't help but just pick at it. Greyson's cooking is so good.... But I don't want to take any chances. 


Tina noticed this, and got a little concerned, "You alright?"
