The flight passed without incident, as Isaac said it would... honestly, to think that everyone in the cockpit would be worried he would "ruin the mission" just because he was distracted. The raccoon was rather disgruntled as he brought the ship towards the depot, just about ready to bring it in for a landing. As it slowly lowered toward the ground, he turned on the intercom again to speak to all of his passengers.

"This is your captain speaking. We are landing in the airship depot now. We ask that your remain where you are until the ship's doors open. Some Stellan military officers will be just outside, and will give you instructions. Please don't be alarmed by their presence, they are here to keep order and keep you safe, and to ensure that those who need medical treatment are sent to appropriate hospitals. Please keep in mind that if you are a minor without any legal guardian, you will become a ward of the state, and will be sent to a special shelter where you will be looked after by adults. This is the way things have to be done, so please keep calm and cooperate. Evenstell is offering up room and resources for you, so try to keep that in mind..."

He then sat back in his chair again and sighed, shaking his head. The ship slowly lowered itself through some massive hatch doors in the top of the depot, easing itself onto a landing pad... the hatch doors shut behind it, entrapping the ship in a massive concrete building filled with military officers, police, hospital staff, and the other ships that had already arrived with their crowds of refugees.

The refugees were corralled into dozens of lines, all ending at a small station with some officers holding their scanners, so they could be checked and sent off to appropriate destinations. A few ambulances were already filled and leaving, sirens blaring, while the buses outside were steadily loaded up as well. It was an intimidating, organized chaos...

(By scanner, what do you mean? Are their fingerprints being scanned, their irises, or what?)

(I imagine it is facial recognition, because most people at least have photos or IDs in a system somewhere to be identified from, while few people ever have their fingerprints done. So they just hold it up and take a picture, essentially, though it's probably high-tech and beyond my imagination. XD)

(Okay. So like a facial scan, kinda.)

Roy felt suffocated as he stood in line with the rest of the refugees; he was still with the Derings, but lost sight of his family. That made him feel very uneasy, especially since it was possible they weren't going to be sent to the same shelter. Then again... I'm not exactly a normal refugee, aren't I...? He proved that thought as Erik skirted his way about the lines to find him.

"Ah, there you are. I was wondering where you went off to."

Roy managed a slight nod, saying somewhat stifly, "I went to find my girlfriend and 'er family."

"That's understandable." Erik said, showing no signs of catching onto Roy's stifness to him, "Once you go through customs, you and your family will be sent to the Matriarchs' castle."

Roy's eyes widened slightly, "Zeir... Castle?"

"Yeah. They wanna talk to you, remember?"

Oh, how could I have forgotten that? Roy thought sarcastically, but only nodded to Erik, "R-right, I remembered..." This is going to be a long day... He was at least happy to be standing and stretching out his legs; the airship was too cramped for his liking.

Still standing up on the catwalk far above the lines of refugees, Adara watched as the people moved about, keeping an eye out for troublemakers... But then she caught sight of Erik, speaking with a young bat in a small cluster of similar-looking, dark-furred bats. Is that Brodeur...? He looks younger than I imagined. Hmm...

The sheep turned to start making her way over to the stairs leading down to the ground, a few guards walking just behind her, holding their weapons at the ready. A younger sheep, with very small horns on her head, trotted at her side, and it was to this lamb that Adara commanded, "Have the driver bring my car around... I would like to personally escort the Brodeurs."

"Yes, ma'am," the lamb replied, turning to scurry off and contact the driver of her armored car with bulletproof windows. It would surely be safe enough to transport a cluster of scrawny refugees.

Adara halted near the front of the line that the Brodeurs were in, standing there silently as she waited for Erik to notice her.

(Roy: *pushes Chase to Adara* 'E can stand een for me. 

No he can't. He's got Pippa and Sasha. 

Roy: >A>")

Erik stood there quietly with the rest of the Brodeurs, who had been escorted to join with Roy; he looked around absentmindedly, and then noticed Adara. He excused himself before making his way to the sheep, and ducked his head in a polite greeting, "Your Excellence, it's a relief to see you."

As Lance and his group exited the ship, Umbra grew increasingly nervous. He didn't like the way things were looking but they'd made it off the aircraft without him being immediately arrested. The closer and closer they got to the officers scanning people in though...

"No," Umbra muttered and started to fidget, "They're gonna arrest me!"

"Umbra." Lance said firmly.

"No way!" Umbra declared his voice booming, "I AM NOT GOING BACK TO PRISON!"

With that the wolf stormed out of line shoving his way towards the nearest exit. Officers moved following after him and chased him down though failed to catch him.

"'scuse me," Cayde's voice said as he moved through the crowd. Eventually he drew his bow and jumped beating his wings hard and getting into the air, "EVERYBODY MOVE!"

Scared refugees parted as Umbra pressed on. He was so close! Freedom was at hand!

An arrow landed in the wall a good 10 feet from him. The wolf didn't bother to note that the think was glowing a strange purple color...before it detonated and now ushered it's glow on him. What the hell was this stuff. It didn't burn or even hurt for that matter.

Up above Cayde balled a fist, "SUBMIT!"

Suddenly Umbra's knees buckles as if he was being crushed under a few hundred extra pounds of weight. The dragon responsible settled down on the ground next to Umbra pulling out a suppression band and slipping it on the wolf's ankle before cuffing him with a set of handcuffs.

"Umbra Johnson," he said, "By order of the state of Evenstell, you are hereby under arrest."

Lance got himself scanned in and excused himself from the party awaiting transportation for the medical procedures on the grounds of Umbra's situation.

"What the hell is going on here?!" he said coating himself in metal ready to fight Cayde if that's what this was.

"Back up, Kuroneko," Cayde snapped, "Don't make me arrest you too."

"What are my charges?!" Umbra growled.

"I'll answer that as a reasonable person if you promise to not try to escape."

The wolf looked pleadingly at Lance.

"Do as he says...and you promised me you wouldn't run either...you lied Umbra."

"I-" he choked on his words but sighed, "Alright...I won't try to run."

Cayde waved his hand and the purple glow dispelled as if evaporating into thin air. The dragon pulled Umbra to his feet, "You alright? I didn't hurt you too much did I?"

Umbra shook his head, "What are my charges?"

"Multiple counts of resisting arrest, breaking and entering, assault, second degree murder and attempted first degree murder. Those are your charges,"

Lance sighed, the metal he had coated himself with fading, "Well we knew this was coming."

"Have you scanned in yet?" Cayde asked

Umbra shook his head.

"Well let's take care of that shall we? Oh by the way, welcome to Evenstell,"

(RIP Umbra. Just... RIP.)

(Poor Umbra... he's doomed... At least the prisons are decent. o3o")
