My only critique is that Roy's arms are way too small. They should be thicker and much longer. o3o But that's it. I love the faces and hair so much. X3 You draw human beings so much better than I do. XD

Aaaand here's my sketch! XD I'm practicing emotions. e3e Here is my attempt at calm-but-terrified, with River as my subject, as I am working on developing her character.

Besides, this took me, like... um... hours... ^^' And it's not colored or squat... *headdesk* I got sooo mad at it like a thousand times just sljgsdfkjgh-! But yes. *coughs and sits up* This is River.

Her backstory, if she's not involved in Kolerin, is that she is from a Tribe up north. When she was about seven years old, her tribe was attacked, and all the women and children captured to be sold as servants. She ended up with a kindly master at first, who was willing to let her buy her freedom if she worked off her debt (since he bought her from the slave traders). However, he passed away when she was eleven, and she was given to his rather unkind nephew. Years later, she's a young adult, but her current master is in debt thanks to gambling, and needs to sell her to repay the debt. Not wanting to be stuck with an even worse master, she decides to run away... in the drawing, she's supposed to be asking for help, so her master doesn't find her and take her back.

If she's in Kolerin, she is a servant of the Sect and escapes. XD Self-explanatory.

Oooooo if she does become a character, Flare would like her because of the tribal background.

Flare: Finally another tribe person!

Flare? Like somebody? OMG SHE COULD HAVE FRIENDS.

River: W-wait, you're from a tribe, too?

Why, yes. A very different tribe, but a tribe nonetheless.

YES! SHE ONLY HAS TWO FRIENDS WHO ARE LAVA PEOPLE AND HALF OBIDIAN PEOPLE!

Flare: Yeah! I'm from the Tribe of the Rising Moon.

Yeah did I also mention that four other tribes that I created know that Flare's tribe is for stealth and brutal killings. Kind of tribe that does dirty work. Fighting not so simple, other things very simple.

River's tribe lived far up north, and were generally peaceful. All were wolves, so you might think of them more as a pack, but they were a very hardy people who just focused on surviving in the cold conditions of their home. Their life was difficult enough without war.

River: Oh, I don't know if I've heard of that tribe... My own home was very isolated.
