Okay Blueh so I based a story for Storm's origins that Richard and Anna make an appearence in only because I couldn't come up with random names and I didn't feel like saying "the male bat" and "the female bat" over and over again. I'm still not finished typing it up but...Anna won't like me and neither will Richard for that matter when I do finally post it. c: )

"Okay..." Nani's response was more of a breath or whisper than much of a reply. The exhausted ocelot laid in the position Aaron put her in, too exhausted and weak to move herself. Her grey eyes drifted shut, her bony torso moving slower as her breathing deepened slightly, but still remained a bit too rapid due to her illness.

"It's okay, Roy... nobody is rushing you," Laura insisted, not wanting him to start insulting himself. She took one hand off his arm to place it against his back, both a comforting and a steadying gesture. "You're alright... don't stress."

Tina let out a small yelp when Greyson shifted from under her, and was now on her back on the couch, with him hovering over her. She blushed deeply, but managed to catch her breath when she was finally given some time to calm down and collect her bearings. She nuzzled back a little, before getting distracted by the sound of tearing clothes-- it had come from Greyson's back, "Greyson...?"

"S-Shiloh, I don't think it's a good idea to rub at your face like that..." The otter reached out and pulled her hand away from her face, then said, "I know you're frustrated about this, but this kind of thing just takes time..."

Aaron shifted over to curl up against Nani's side, since he couldn't just leave her. Even though she was quite warm, he nestled his muzzle close to her neck, with one of his thicker arms wrapping around her middle-- he absentmindedly wanted to monitor her breathing, just to make him feel better about this. His short tail swished a little, before just stopping. He doubted he could sleep now, but just lying with Nani was good enough for him. The panther purred faintly, the rumbling sound coming from his chest.

Roy's ears angled back slightly, and he forced himself to take a breath in order to clear his mind, "Okay, okay, sorry..." Stress is the worst thing that you can have right now. But it's hard to avoid it. The bat's ears angled up more, but were not fully perked up. "I'm tryeeng not to..."

(XD no idea why I picked them really...maybe to explain why they had to give up Roy and Rachel? *shrug* )

(Well, yes, they did. Roy and Rachel ran away from home about four to five years ago in this canon. Sometime during Doomsday on the older forums, Richard and Anna were prisoners of the Sect because they were Roy's parents.)

"What...?" Greyson asked, then noticed what was happening. The hybrid got up off of Tina, letting out a groan of annoyance. "Not again... I-I've been so uptight lately that my scales keep sticking up and tearing my shirt." And making it nearly impossible to get his shirt off when the fabric got all stuck in his scales. He rubbed at his face, then plucked at his shirt, which was torn up in the back and doing the thing where it got stuck. "Well, there's another ruined t-shirt..."

Shiloh frowned a bit, but knew there was no good argument. She got up from her chair, going over to sit on Phillip's lap instead, feeling a little on the needy side. "I'm just gonna sit here and pout now..." The stoat leaned her head on his shoulder, hugging him tightly.

Nani practically passed out, laying there and breathing heavily. A cold sweat coated her hair and fur, and she trembled occasionally, shifting closer to Aaron as though she was cold, even though her fever made her feel warm to the touch.

"It's alright... just worry about you, okay?" Laura told him, then added, "We can always stop and try again later if you get frustrated." She rubbed his back a little, hoping he could relax, otherwise she'd have to convince him to sit down and give it a break.
