Intro Letter From the Principal --

~ Welcome to the Kolerin High School in the Capital, Redwillow City! We are an old, proud, prestigious academy for students in grade years six through twelve, with both a junior high and a senior high school on the grounds. We are proud to be one of the few schools in the area that offers enrollment for both supernatural and non-supernatural students, and we have special programs for these students to help them learn to live together peacefully even during these tough political times. We hope you consider sending your children to this safe, successful academy, and are eager to meet our new students and greet familiar faces for the new school year!

Basic Introduction on the School --

Times are tough in Kolerin, especially as children and teenagers are being judged for their supernatural talents. Some are viewed as outright dangerous, which has led to a negative reputation for all supernaturals... some schools refuse to let these special students enroll, and simply kick them out. Fortunately, Redwillow is a large city with some strong political power, and has a large school that is open for students no matter what kind of creature they are.

The school has two main buildings; the junior high, for kids in years six, seven, and eight; and a senior high, for kids in hears nine, ten, eleven, and twelve. The buildings are at opposite ends of the school grounds, but in between them are the shared areas; sports fields ranging from tennis to football to baseball; a recreational building with a swimming pool, auditorium, and game room with things like ping-pong tables, and private rooms where club meeting and the like can be held. There's also a small park with a playground, as childish as that may seem, and a single building that holds dorms in it for students who don't have a nearby home to return to. Bike racks are scattered here and there so students may bring bicycles and safely store them.

Cafeterias are separate, one in the junior and one in the senior schools, so older students can't bully the younger children into hanging over lunch money and the like.

There are separate sports teams for the junior and senior schools, though clubs may be open for kids of all ages, depending on the particular club and that club's president.

The school itself is situated in uptown Redwillow, where huge canals of water act as a sort of mote for a castle. The entirety of the school grounds are surrounded by a large wrought-iron fence, standing over ten feet tall with arrowhead-like points at the top. There are four gates; East, West, North, and South. Each gate opens up to a bridge that leads over a canal, with each bridge having ornate brick sidewalks and a two-way road for school buses and cars and the like to take students to and from the school. Students are only permitted to use the North, East, and West gates; the South is exclusively for supply trucks and the like. The school is relatively high-security, especially since it houses supernatural students that are sometimes victims to politics.

School Uniforms --

All students are required to wear a school uniform during the school day on campus. The school's colors are light grey and olive green.

GIRLS: The girls' uniform for all grades consists of a grey skirt, white dress shirt, and the option of either a green plaid tie or ribbon. They may wear either grey or white socks or leggings. Any shoes are acceptable, as are most accessories and warm wear for the colder months.

BOYS: The boys' uniform for all grades consists of grey dress pants (slacks), a white dress shirt, and an olive green plaid tie. Socks should be white, grey, or black in color. Any shoes are acceptable, as well as most accessories and warm wear for colder months.

JACKETS: Students also get a jacket with their uniform. The jackets are all olive green in color, with brass buttons on the fronts and the school's insignia emblazoned on the breast pocket. They are fancy jackets with nice folded collars and cuffs on the sleeves, with no hood. The jackets are always personalized; students of the senior high school have colored bands on one of their sleeves to show what year they are in, while students may also put pins and patches on their jackets to show what sports teams and clubs they are in.
- Year Nine students have a yellow colored band on their sleeve.
- Year Ten students have a red colored band on their sleeve.
- Year Eleven students have a black colored band on their sleeve.
- Year Twelve students have a white colored band on their sleeve.

GYM CLOTHES: Every student is issued a gym uniform as well. They are the same for both boys and girls; they get a package with olive green sweatpants, olive green gym shorts, and a grey t-shirt with their first initial and last names on it, as well as the school's insignia. New gym uniforms are issued as needed.

EXTRAS: The school's store has various other items with the school's colors; scarves, varsity jackets, hoodies, the like.

CLUBS --

It's quite easy to make a club. Simply have someone be the Club President, possibly choose a Vice President, select the time and places of your meetings and there you go! The school does keep track of club behavior, so if your club is up to no good, it will get disbanded by the school's staff. Each club also gets to design a pin or patch to place on members' jackets. Anyone can start a club!

Wait So How Does This Work...?

- This is an AU -- Alternate Universe! Take characters from Doomsday or K3 and put them into a high school setting! Most are encouraged to be students, but some are teachers, or other staff members like the Principal or the nurse. Others are adults who are actually the guardians or parents of other characters, unexpectedly. Just have fun with it. ^w^

- Not all roleplaying has to take place at the school. Redwillow is a big place! You can go to a movie theater, or hang out at home.

- BE CAREFUL! The Sect still exists in this canon, except instead of being an evil war organization, it is a political power that seeks to have new laws that are unfair to supernaturals; like forcing them to live in different parts of town, sit in separate areas of a restaurant, and go to different schools than anyone else. Supernaturals are being portrayed as evil, so nowadays a lot of schools and employers discriminate against them. Try not to get beat up at school for having an ability, and keep an eye on your loved ones...

- Quinn Barnaby - Supreme Principal of both Junior and Senior High Schools
- Ruth Hugh - Nurse at the Senior High School.
- Marie Hugh - Nurse at the Junior High School.
- Maude Stellan - The "human relations" representative, but also a teacher at the Junior High School. She teaches both Literature and Math classes to younger kids, and runs a tutoring program for anyone who needs it. Go to her if you are a victim of bullying or discrimination, or just need someone to help you with your math homework.
- Locke Lorica - A disgruntled history teacher at the Senior High School. He's always grumpy.
- Lucas Shaw - The head of the sports division of the school. He is particularly helpful to any supernatural students having issues, and seems to hold a particular hate towards the political Sect that aims to hurt supernaturals... He's a little mysterious, but friendly and dependable. Also, if you want to join or leave a sports team, he's your guy. Known for having a short and sometimes violent temper when dealing with difficult students or bullies.

- Teachers can be totally random background characters. If you want a canon character to be a teacher, though, let me know and I'll write it down up here. They should be characters who are already considered to be adults in the other canons, to avoid confusion.

- Character Ages should be calculated as you wish, but we're basically just subtracting three years off their age. You can make them younger or even older than their other canon selves, though. Just try not to overdo it. You may have other characters maintain their age, though.
- Example 1: Celeste is 14 in Doomsday. Here, she is only eleven.
- Example 2: Chase is older in this canon, being Roy and Rachel's adoptive father. He's now somewhere in his late thirties or early forties.
- Example 3: Maude Stellan is in her late twenties in Doomsday. Her age has not changed at all in this canon.

- There are no very young characters allowed at the school! Year 6 is as low as it goes! Those students are going to be eleven or twelve. Everyone else is older, up to eighteen years old as a Year 12 student.

How To Start ---

It's mid-September, and the new school year has been in session for only about two weeks. New supernatural students are pouring in because of being kicked out of their other schools, and there's even a Scottish transfer student coming this year! Some faces are familiar, and others new, but you have to face the hallways anyway. It's a somewhat grey morning here at the Kolerin High School, with a thin layer of clouds in the sky but some lingering warmth from the early autumn sun, and it doesn't seem likely to rain.

Find friends, meet new ones, and maybe even find a date! There are school dances occasionally, so it's always nice to have a special someone. To start out, simply introduce your character as they are in this canon, and clarify whether they are a new student or have been here before. Remember, not everyone will know each other at the start like they do in Doomsday. Some people will know each other, but not all of them.

(Once I get back to my computer I'll send Zero's file in cause its important to know that he breaks dresscode all the time cause of his tie.

Zero's in grade 11 if theres only a junior and senior football team. My school had three, Freshmen JV and Varsity. JV was for 10 11 and 12 varcity was the top ranked but had 10 11 and 12 and freshmen was for 9 year only. So maybe that instead of just junior and senior? )

(That works. owo I turned 16 like just after school started in grade ten. ^^' I've always been one of the older kids.

(Actually her name would be Firelily. In this canon she lost her eye in a different way and her mother wouldn't allow her name to be changed. People can still call her Flare though if they felt like it since its part of her nicknames.

BLOCK SCHEDULES!!! As in you do 2 and 1/2 hours in a class get an hour and a half for lunch do another 2 and 1/2 hour class then you're done so six an a half hour days! o7o )
