(I'm not sure... maybe if it comes up later, like if one of the children characters is bi or gay and really insecure about it. It could be comforting to hear from the President that he was like that. XD Plus, it explains one reason why he doesn't mind having gay individuals holding high ranks, while in our society if there's an important gay person, people freak out. o3o" Roy is very accepting of that sort of thing.

What he doesn't realize is that his marriage to Laura is also a statement. One issue is gonna be inter-race marriage (like here, except they're different animals in the book). Laura is a hybrid, and a different race than Roy. So there. >w< Weeee.

(I'm not gonna get overly complicated with sexuality titles... I just don't fully understand what each title means, but I understand that people aren't necessarily just "straight" or "gay." But many different types and people will be represented because of how different our own characters are.

I'd like to incorporate Scone, I'm just not sure how to yet. XD There's a lot of characters, and I have to be careful not to bounce around too much and focus on the storyline, since it's a novel and not a roleplay.)

And for a thing with many characters and little plots-- it's practically HYPNOTIZING, because there are so many characters, and many different plots. Gone was like that, and did it well. Under the Dome did it, too, and Homestuck. I forget what it's called, but I know there was a book that was very sucessful because it had a shit ton of characters and side plots.)
