Oh mai... This is new...

Jasper drowsily rubbed his head against his mother, then yawned and asked, "Is your sister here...?" He thought he heard her voice, and he knew about what happened to her. It sounded like she needed a hug, and he was fine with giving her one. He liked hugs when something scared him.

Shiloh was certainly doing better nowadays, and had even begun to work out to try to regain some muscle mass... she didn't like being as scrawny as Phillip, as silly as that sounded. The hedgehog gave Tina a brief hug, "It's nice to see you... I'm glad you two are safe."

Nani protectively petted Aaron's head, her fingers combing through his dark hair. She nuzzled his cheek, murmuring, "I love you... so much..." Her father's wedding ring was still on a chain around her neck, where it had been since the day it was given to her.

Scotty looked up when Stone joined him, then shifted closer to the hybrid and laid down on his side, resting his head on his boyfriend's lap. He mumbled, "My head hurts..." He sort of just wanted to be coddled at the moment.

"If you want... it would give you an excuse to talk to him. I'd really like for you to get to know my extended family a bit more before we're married... the twins and Chase still seemed so unsure about it," Marie replied, leading the way into the infirmary. She headed to EJ's room, and knocked on the door, "Rachel...? Are you two up?"

"I don't wanna..." Chase complained, his arms looping around her waist as he rolled over, playfully sort of trapping her amongst the pillows, "I just wanna be lazy... and you're so cuddly..."

Laura managed a small smile, "I-It's okay... Celeste is napping right now, b-but... when she's awake, you two c-can talk..." She wasn't going to forbid her sister to see her friends, or a boyfriend if she did get one. That would be unfair.

"Well I think Chase is kind of afraid of me." Duel replied.

"But the cuddle dog is hungry." she teased.

"Thanks. I'll try and sign with her later. Take care." Amigo said and then left.

Phillip smiled a little, "Yeah, Tina is here... With Greyson." He was quite amused with the whole 'girl Phillip' thing between Tina and Jasper-- he didn't really mind, as it was too amusing to get pissed off at. "She's alright...." Well, for the most part. 

Feeling better at the hug, Tina smiled a little at Shiloh, "Thank you... And it's nice to see that you're doing better, too...." She was still thin, but was looking better.

Aaron purred a little in response, his thick arms still wrapped around Nani as he held her close to him. "I know... I love you, too." The words weren't exactly foreign, but he hadn't used them almost at all over the years....

Stone couldn't help but play with Scotty's hair a little while the sheep rested in his lap. "I know... Take it easy, please? There's no rush...." Coddling Scotty was no problem for Stone.

Rachel was the one that got up to answer the door for EJ, and she didn't really know wether to look up or down to see Marie and Duel, "Oh, good morneeng...." She rubbed at her face a little, looking tired, but she smiled a little. "'Ow are you two?"

Marie couldn't help but chuckle, then looked up when Rachel answered the door, "Hi, sweetie. I just brought some things for you and Elliot..." She was glad to see that Rachel looked sleepy-- it meant she was at least getting a little rest. The mouse held up the oversized sweater she made, "This is for your little cat. I noticed he likes to wear Roy's sweaters, and I thought it might be nice for him to have one to keep... a little comforting, maybe."

Chase lifted his head when she said she was hungry, "Mmmkay... what you want?" He wasn't sure which of them was the better cook, but he just hadn't asked her if she cooked yet.

Laura watched him go, sniffling, then went back inside to regain her composure. She wiped at her face and fixed her hair, not sure if she wanted to stay home for a little while, or go find Roy and apologize for running off the way she did.

Jasper wriggled upright, rubbing at his eyes. When he saw Tina, he smiled and said drowsily, "Hi..." He sleepily climbed off of the couch, careful so he wouldn't wake up his mother. The little cheetah gave Phillip a hug while the otter was still crouching, then plodded sleepily over to Tina and wrapped his arms around her, "It's okay..."

Nani was starting to relax a little more, and her breathing steadied. She gently stroked Aaron's cheek again, then asked calmly, "Do you want me to change your bandages now?"

"Mmmkay..." Scotty agreed without any argument. His ears flicked as Stone petted his hair. The gentle touch was soothing, and he let out a breath, "Keep doing that, please, laddy..."

So I'm kinda depressed now, my perfectly good day ruined with a gruesome reminder of how cruel the world can be.)

Rachel noticed the sweater when Marie held it up, and smiled a little at it, "I'm not sure whaht Roy would zink about eet. I zink 'e's gotten pretty used to shareeng 'is, buht I'm sure Ezhay would love eet." It looked really comfortable, but hot, as the weather was getting warmer. Her hair was still bedheaded, and she absentmindedly twirled her hair a little.

Phillip returned the little hug, before straitening up. He fixed the blanket over Maude, before leaving her alone so she could get her rest. 

Tina watched as Jasper moved over to her, and only stopped to give her brother a hug. It was somewhat awkward, the hug, as he was so short compared to her, but it was comforting nevertheless, "T-thank you, Jasper..." She returned the hug as best as she could, and smiled a bit.

"I guessh sho...." Aaron replied with a slight shrug, even though it hurt a little, "Jusht, if you don't think you can do it, I can go to the infirmary... It'sh not a big deal."

"Of course...." Stone didn't think he could stop, anyway, and continued to comb his fingers through the sheep's hair. The hybrid smiled a little, "Just relax.... I'm here...."

(Yeah I'm alright, we had a driver safety briefing and two Fire paramedics spent an hour and a half telling us stories about what they've seen and what not and how wearing your seatbelt could've saved your life.

I was reminded of an accident that happened to a couple of girls from my hometown about 6 months or so before I got to BMT...their car looked like a bow tie tied around a telephone pole. There were four girls in the car...paramedics found two bodies and a puddle of mess. All four were drunk. Driver lost control...and four lives ended in a matter of seconds.)

Duel kind of kneeled down a bit so that Rachel won't crank her neck too much trying to see him, he gave a small shy smile.

I've told my friends when we turn 21 and are able to drink if I host a party where alcohol is present I will get your keys whether it's from asking for them...or stealing them. I'm not above stealing your car keys if it keeps you from driving home and ending up like those four girls.)

(Smart. Very, very smart. Actually, there's a thing in Canada (I think) where the designated driver gets free soda and stuff, and wear this armband that basically says they can't have alcohol.)

(I wish the US would do something like that...or at the very least local bars would.)

(I think the UK does it, too. Or something similar.)

(Yeah. But that's how my day concluded...after I had to fiddle with safety wire in the AGE shop which was a royal pain in the ass cause they won't give us needle nose pliers...)

(Apparently, in the new Smash Bros., you can actually use Mii fighters. Which I find to be really cool. So, you can really put anyone into Smash Bros.... And you have no idea how much I want to make my characters as Miis and use them to battle if I owned a Wii U?)

"It gets chilly at night, so I thought he might enjoy sleeping in it..." Marie explained, "Maybe it will help him sleep a little? And that'll help you, too, dear..." She gave Rachel a hug, then stepped back again and held out the sweater, "Would you like to give it to him? We won't stay, if you two are trying to get some rest."

Jasper sleepily leaned against Tina as he hugged her, yawning, "I got a stuffy from the nice mouse doctor... She said my stuffy would keep me safe..." He hugged his plush toy to his chest, still looking almost half-asleep as he stood there.

Unable to resist how cute the kid was, Greyson picked him up, giving him a hug, "That's right, kiddo. You're both gonna be just fine." He patted the cheetah's back, amused as the five-year-old tiredly draped himself over the hybrid's shoulder. Grey had a soft spot for small children, and just couldn't help himself. He held the sleepy child, rocking him a little, honestly doubting that he was going to stay awake long.

"I can do it," Nani assured him, getting off the bed and hunting down the first aid supplies. She carried the kit over, setting it on the foot of the bed. She then reached out to help Aaron sit up, "I'll spray on some more antibiotics, and they'll help numb the wounds, too."

Scotty laid there contentedly, but he couldn't help but start talking again even though it hurt, "Ded you like cooking weth me...?"

"Mmkay," Chase replied, and finally sat up. He yawned, rubbing at his face, "I'll make you one..." He dragged himself out of bed and plodded out into the kitchen, his curly tail waving slowly back and forth as he walked.
