(Yeah, suggestions and ideas can be brought up OOC, but then we should see how well the characters click when they actually interact. ouo It's just fun that way. Surprise couples can happen, like Nani and Aaron. XD He was actually with another woman at the time when I sort of realized that Nani, judging by who she was, would probably develop feelings for him after taking care of him while he was sick.

And look at how well you two click. XD Chase and Pippa took a little while to click, but I think they're starting to really work out.)

As morning rolled around, and the traumatic day of the Sect attack was finally over, Greyson slowly started to come to. He had fallen asleep with Tina that night, since the otter had been afraid to be alone, and he woke up to find them still on the living room sofa. He was on his back, his head on the arm of the couch, while Tina was laying on top of him, sprawled out with her head on his chest and her hands holding onto him like she was afraid of him vanishing; one held a fistful of his t-shirt, and the other arm was hooked around his shoulder as she held a handful of his grey hair.

Unable to go anywhere, Greyson let out a soft breath. Sure, he was a spastic and generally lighthearted person, but he was still able to understand when it was time to be serious... He could be a very thoughtful person, actually. Right now, he was thinking about what he could do to make Tina feel safe in her own home again... There wasn't much that could be done. He would just have to be there for her as she healed.

Letting out another breath, Greyson adjusted his arms around her, letting her sleep... It had probably been some ridiculous hour in the morning when they had finally dozed off... Grey glanced at a clock, seeing he had only gotten about five hours of sleep. Hopefully Tina would last longer, but with how shaken up she had been, that was probably just wishful thinking.

Meanwhile, Scotty was waking up in his bed back at his and Stone's place. He had forgotten about what happened to him personally yesterday, but when he went to move his head, he was reminded. The sheep groaned softly, but even that caused him discomfort. He had dark bruising on his neck and on the side of his head, as well as one on his side... Three punches had hit him yesterday, and all three hurt really badly. At least the force hadn't been enough to crush his windpipe or damage any bones.

Celeste had a long day yesterday, but her sister had checked on her before bed, and that made her actually able to get some rest. The fourteen-year-old was still laying in bed, half-asleep, but she could hear Shay moving around in the kitchen. He still didn't know about what Ronnie told her... and Laura didn't, either. Oh dear...

After Chase and Pippa went back to his place, and Pippa teased him when he fretted over her like a mother hen, the canine decided he wanted to get up and cook something. He wasn't an expert chef or anything, but he could cook well enough to feed himself and the girls. He sort of wondered when Sasha would be home, and if Pippa had fallen back asleep or not, but he'd give them both space to do as they wished.

Pippa hadn't fallen asleep quite yet since she didn't feel safe. She decided to wait until he came back, she felt very tired and almost thought that she wouldn't be able to stay awake until he got back.

Ronnie knew that Laura would need to know about his feelings for Celeste. He decided that it would be better if he told her first. He knocked on the door, but it wasn't too loud. He hoped Shay wasn't there, but if he was he might have to tell Laura another time. He knew that the bat would cause a lot of trouble when he found out.

(Wait hear...she's deaf XD)

(Crap! XD She's my first deaf character, I mess up sometimes... Okay, so Shay is in the kitchen but she doesn't hear it. o3o I made the same kind of mistakes with my first blind character. XD)

Tina, more or less, had slipped back into the panic and paranoia that she had at the start of the war, when she first met Roy and EJ in Kolerin. She was terrified to sleep, as her fear was all too real, and not something that is rather childish, like being afraid of the dark or something. She wasn't really crying anymore, which was good, but she had been deathly silent, unlike her usual quietness.

Sometime during the night, she must have fallen asleep, with her face smushed into Greyson's chest-- she didn't want to sleep, but it had taken her, anyway. Her head moved with every breath he took a breath, and she shifted here and there, but was mostly silent... until she made a little noise, her face scrunching up slightly as her grip tightened a little on Greyson's shirt and hair. Bags were under her eyes, and were content on staying there for a while.

Stone was still asleep by now, but he would be waking up shortly. As much as he hadn't been involved with the battle at all, he had been exhausted just worrying about Scotty and what the hell happened. The hybrid's red hair was a mess, and hung limply in his eyes as his face was pushed into the pillow, with his blanket halfway hanging off him.

Chase poked around the kitchen for a good while, not knowing that Pippa was nervous without him there. She had seemed alright, good enough to tease him earlier, so he wasn't too worried. Instead the canine focused on not burning the food he was trying to cook, the smell of grilled sandwiches wafting through the house. Chase was one of those people who thought that a grilled cheese sandwich with ketchup on it, and a cup of coffee, was a perfectly alright breakfast.

(Ewww, ketchup?! Seriously?!

Chase: I love ketchup... omo')

Shay, unfortunately, was home. And he answered the door to see Ronnie standing there... Though he was tempted to be mean, he managed to remain civil as he said, "Celeste is still in bed. What do you want?" Maybe there was something going on at the infirmary and he was needed.

"Hey... Tinaaa..." Greyson said quietly when the otter started subconsciously pulling at his hair. He gave her a little shake, rather having her wake up and be tired than experience a nightmare. Starting to know how Rachel felt with EJ, the hybrid shook Tina again, "Hey, c'mon, it's okay... I've got you. Wake up... it's okay..."

Deciding he was lonely by himself, Scotty forced himself to get out of bed. His entire head-and-neck region hurt, and he stopped by the bathroom to find those pain pills Stone had talked about yesterday... Once he managed to force one down his sore throat, he headed to Stone's room. The sheep saw him still sleeping... and almost turned back around and left... but then he got over it and entered as quietly as he could so he wouldn't wake the hybrid up. He carefully got onto the bed, inwardly hoping that Stone wouldn't freak out when he woke up, and curled up next to him. He sort of half-draped himself against Stone, resting his forehead against his boyfriend's arm and laying an arm over him. Then he closed his eyes and just rested until Stone got up.

"Chase what are you doing?" Pippa called.

"I need to talk to Laura, is she here?" Ronnie asked. He didn't want to lie to Shay even if he didn't like him, he knew that Shay might hate him more if he lied. Plus Ronnie wasn't fond of lying to people....unless they were made out of ice.

"Making some food.... You hungry? I can make you something," Chase called back. He was a big guy, and he was hungry, so food needed to be happening or he'd get grumpy.

"No, she's not. She spent the night with Roy, since he was seriously injured yesterday... I can let her know you were looking for her then..." Shay wasn't exactly sure why this guy needed to talk to Laura, but he knew that the marten wouldn't want him keeping things from her, "She's probably at the infirmary or the Brodeurs' place."

Tina didn't move at the first little shake Greyson gave her, but the second one was enough to mostly snap herself out of her sleepy daze. She suddenly raised her head and gasped, somewhat quickly, with her eyes wide-- she pushed away from Greyson, looking spooked with her breathing heavy. Her hair was a frizzy mess around her head, but not as bad as it normally was, as she had mostly been face down on Greyson during the night. However, the otter was starting to calm down a little as she realized who it was, and the fact that her mind was just playing tricks on her. Tina slumped, trying to shake off her dream as she tiredly rubbed at her face in her attempt to keep herself from starting to shake, "S-sorry..." She was beyond tired, but nightmares weren't something she wanted to witness again.

Not exactly knowing that Scotty had come to join him in the early morning hours, Stone absentmindedly shifted a little, and pressed closer to the sheep. He had shifted around under Scotty's arm so he was on his other side, facing Scotty, and kind of hid against him. He couldn't help but tiredly purr, enjoying the warmth that Scotty offered.

"Don't apologize..." Greyson told her, though she had kind of elbowed him when she pushed off of him like that. He sat up, then reached over to pull Tina back over to him, holding her against him. Smoothing her hair, he curled around her a little, his tail wrapping around her as well, serving as an extra limb in the embrace. "You're okay... I'm here..."

Managing to doze off a little, Scotty kept his achy head pressed against Stone, now facing him instead of huddling against his side. One arm was still looped around the hybrid, but now the other was tucked between their chests as they huddled together on the bed and dozed, Scotty's tail occasionally batting rapidly back and forth a few times.

"Yeah, just something simple like a salad or something!" she called.

"Thanks. I'll go and see if she has a moment to talk. Bye." Ronnie said politely and went to go and see if Laura could talk.

Tina had almost pulled away when Greyson pulled her back to him-- it was instinct, especially since what happened. However, she stopped herself from doing so, and buried her face against Greyson again, glad for his support. She didn't really know what to say, but her slight shaking and poofed out fur was starting to diminish. Tina let out a little yawn, and again wanted to sleep, but knew she didn't want to. "I-I know...."

Slowly, Scotty was starting to come to, and opened his eyes. He was about to sit up and rub at his face, but he had noticed Scotty lying next to him. Huh...? If he wasn't so tired, he would have blushed, but he was able to wonder why he was here... not that the hybrid complained all that much. Stone shifted into a more comfortable position, and wanted to pull the blanket over them, but he didn't want to wake Scotty up. Gah, his bruises look bad... even worse today...

Chase paused, then realized he did not have any salad stuff in the house and just plodded over to the bedroom, peeking in the doorway, "Umm.... I don't have salad stuff... I have apples, cheese, bread, ketchup, coffee, and some leftover roast beef... and I think some orange juice." He and Sasha weren't exactly big on veggies. Or picking out groceries for that matter, since they didn't have a lot of food in the house most of the time.

Shay watched him go, suspicion in his eyes... something was up...

"You should really try to get some more rest..." Greyson sighed, but knew she wouldn't. So, he just decided to keep holding her, since that was sort of resting. He smoothed her messy, curly hair, wishing he could make her feel better using sheer willpower.

One of Scotty's big ears twitched, and he peeped open one eye to look drowsily up at Stone. He's awake. The sheep didn't lift his head, since he had a headache and Stone was warm and comfortable, but he did manage to rasp a quiet, painful good morning to his boyfriend, his voice barely audible. He hadn't heard himself speak yet that morning, and surprised himself with how nearly-mute he was.

"An apple then!" she called, she loved apples.

He looked around the infirmary first. If Roy was injured it was most likely that he was being cared for there.

"I know...." Tina's voice was slightly muffled from Greyson's chest as she hid against it. Her arms were now smushed between her chest and his-- they were no longer holding onto Greyson for dear life. She was still a little rigid in his arms, with her ears flicking a little as she tried to hear anything out of the ordinary....

Shit.... Stone inwardly cursed when Scotty moved and woke up after he had. The hybrid was blushing a little now, as he was starting to wake up. He couldn't help but frown a little when Scotty rasped a pitiful 'good morning', "Good morning.... But please don't strain your voice if it hurts.... I know it's tempting, but just take it easy.... I really don't wanna get up, and I don't think you want to, either."

(Oh my God... I have an idea for a headcannon in Pantheon. o3o"

"Mmmkay..." Chase went to get an apple for her, and brought her a cup of milk, too, so she could get a little protein and have something to drink. He padded into the bedroom and handed the items to her, "Here you go... I'm gonna go get my food now, before it gets cold." And he went to get his odd meal of a ketchupy grilled cheese sandwich and a cup of black coffee.

Laura had felt awkward when Roy was with his sister and EJ, so she meandered around the waiting room instead, giving them time to themselves. She noticed Ronnie, and sort of just waved, not realizing he was looking for her.

"You don't seem to know," Greyson commented, lifting his hands and covering her velvety little ears. He gently rubbed them in a comforting way, and pressed a kiss to her forehead, "Listen, we're fine now... and I'm here. I'll keep you safe..." He had leaped in and attacked the guy who traumatized her like this, not that he had been very useful, but at least he tried and was there for her.

Telling Scotty not to talk was like telling him not to use one of his hands all day... It would be really hard for him to actually not do it. The sheep kept quiet for the moment, though, and shifted a little closer to Stone when he mentioned not wanting to get up yet. Scotty could get on board with that idea...
